MANGO MOZZARELLA

Hey Lovers,

Okay as you know my favourite Spring/Summer dish is Tomatoes with Mozzarella. HERE I told you about my normal recipe of the delicious dish but I used different ingredients to make it more special.

Tonight I tried out something completely new. I have never made or even eaten it before.
A good friend of our family told me to  try this out. She absolutely loves Tomatoes with Mozzarella too but she had had it to often so she tried something different.

MANGO MOZZARELLA

You might think... WHAT? But actually it tastes soooo extremely good and I am a real fan of it now.

It is very simple and all you need is:

Mozzarella
Mango
Chili
Salt
Pepper
Olive Oil
Lemon Juice

Cut mango and  mozzarella as usual and arrange it on the plate.
For the dressing you use lemon juice instead of vinegar to give the whole meal a fresh taste. Mix lemon juice and olive oil as usual and add a bit of pepper and salt. Add as much chili as you like and pour the marinade over mango and mozzarella. Instead of fresh chili I used a chili-salt. Feel free to be a little bit creative and add the spices you like.

I had some dressing left so I made a small bowl with salad but actually I didn't like the dressing with salad that much. I think it is to spicy for a green salad.

I wish you all a good night and

CHINESE CABBAGE-APPLE-SALAD

HELLO EVERYONE!

Actually my mother told me about this recipe and she was so excited about it, so I thought I'd try it out.

It is a very simple and light meal and perfect for spring and summer. Yes I cooked it in winter but I was not that hungry. I really like lighter meals because I hate the feeling of being overeaten.

So let's start!

Ingredients For 2 Portions

200 g Chinese Cabbage
1-2 Apples

1 Cup Sour Cream
1 Teaspoon of Honey
1 Lemon
Salt & Pepper

2 Chicken Fillets
Butter or Oil

Step One:

Chop the chinese cabbage into small pieces.
After this wash the salad and dry it.

Step Two:

Wash the apples and chop them.

Step Three:

Wash and dry the chicken fillets.
After that chop them into equal pieces.

Step Four:

Add sour cream, honey, lemon juice salt and pepper to a bowl and stir until it is smooth.
You're finished with the dressing!

Step Five:

Melt the butter.

Step Six:

This step is actually optional. I wanted to have sweeter and also warm apple pieces.

Add sugar and apples to the pan and glaze them.

Step Seven:

Add a little more butter to the pan and then the chicken fillet pieces.
Fry them golden-brown.

Mix everything together and place on the plate.
Add cress on top of it and then enjoy your dish!

ZUCCHINI-PASTA

HELLO EVERYONE!

Today I wanted to share with you one of my favourite dishes.
I looooooove pasta in general, I love the quick and easy preperation, the taste and the variety of any pasta.

Here is one delicious, fast and easy recipe:

Ingredients For 4 Portions:

2-3 Tomatoes
1 Zucchini
1 Onion
3 Garlic Cloves
3 Table Spoons Olive Oil
100 g Ham
Salt, Pepper
1/8 l Bouillon
1 Cup Crème Fraîche
1.5 Table Spoon Thyme

Step One:

Peel the tomatoes and cut them into pieces as big as on the picture.

Actually the recipe says that you should cut them into 1 cm big cubes.
I like them better if they are bigger, because I love to bit on a tomato.

Try out what you like better: Bigger or smaller pieces?

 Step Two:

Cut the ham into small pieces.

Here you can be creative to: if you like the ham to be bigger cut it bigger or even cut it into stripes.

Step Three:

Cut the zucchini into medium pieces.

I like to have the zucchini a little bit smaller that the tomatoes.
But again try out what you like the best!

Step Four:

Cut the onion and the garlic cloves.
They should be very fine.

Step Five:

Put olive oil into a pot and add onion an garlic cloves when the oil is hot.
Toast the ingredients.

Add ham, then zucchini and then tomatoes.

After a view minutes you can add the bouillon and the the crème fraîche.

Last but not least spice the sauce with pepper, salt and thyme.

Step Six:

Cook the pasta!

Add the pasta into the pot with boiling salt-water and stir occasionally.

Last Step: Food Arranging

Be creative and dress your plate and then of course: bon appétit!

I hope you like this dish as much as I do! :)
